Hi all. I've upgraded to the latest version of GW and am trying to clean up my host templates. I originally had templates with spaces in the names, i.e. "Host Temp - Linux" and so forth and am unable to delete them from the new version. If I try to delete them through the web interface, I'm getting a "field [name] cannot contain..." When I try to connect via the CLI to MySQL in hopes of purging the names from the database, I'm getting a "cannot connect to local MySQL server through socket" error. I've also tried running a purge from the "load" function within the web interface but no good. Would greatly appreciate any help anyone might offer and am happy to provide more details.
Thx much.
Regards,
Kory

You might try connecting to mysql using something like
mysql -u root -p -h hostip
where hostip is the network ip of the box.
Obviously not the solution to the problem, but, might get you going a little on it!

Thx, slander! That did it. I pointed to the GW server's IP address, even though it's on the same physical box.
Have a good one!
