GroundWork Desk powered by Invicta Software, is a help desk ticketing system now available for GroundWork Monitor Enterprise.

GroundWork Desk for Help Desk ticketing. GroundWork Monitor does monitoring and alerting, but this is only part of what you need to run an IT shop. Engineers, DevOps, and technicians all need to know they are always working on the most important things, without having to think about the relative priority of a given task. That’s why we are adding GroundWork Desk to GroundWork Monitor Enterprise.

GroundWork Desk (powered by Invicta Software) is a help desk ticketing system, closely integrated with GroundWork Monitor. If GroundWork can monitor it, you can get a ticket on it when it needs attention. This new product makes the need for expensive and complex integrations with other help desk products obsolete – just use GroundWork Desk!

This version of our Enterprise product supports distributed monitoring with multiple GroundWork servers in parent-child configurations, along with an update to our Log Bridge connection to Elasticsearch and Kibana.

You can now download version 8.1.0 for free in a time-limited capacity. This free version will work for up to 200 devices for 3 months, and (unlike prior free versions) is 100% enabled, with many updates and new features.

Announcing GroundWork Monitor 8

GroundWork Monitor 8 is a new version of a mature product, GroundWork Monitor Enterprise. As such, a lot of what is inside of this version will be familiar to users of prior versions. For example, we are still using the same bundled GPL Nagios™ and GroundWork Distributed Monitoring Agent (GDMA), and we are still including NeDi and Cloud Hub as data feeds.

Then again, much is very new. We have completely re-worked the status screens and made them much more responsive. There are lots of new ways to view the state of your monitored resources, and to drill into the history and performance of the metrics you collect. Read More
